Dan Kanach Artist Lecture Reaction

This artist's talk was not only interesting but very informative. He discussed his artist journey, and how he came to be where he is today. I thought an excellent piece of advice he had was to submit your art to everything because you can't win if you don't try. The little animations he had in his slides were cool and showed the product of his work in a fun way. A big thing he talked about was the necessity to make money and survive as an artist, and how to do so. I think that sort of thing is important and applicable, and I haven't heard many people talk about it before.
