Home Project Process Post

For my home project this semester, I decided to crochet a giant doily. I wanted to do this because I have never made a doily before, and I wanted to do some more crochet, as a lot of my projects have been more papier-mache focused this year. I made the pattern as I went, and I wanted to make it up all myself without looking up any patterns, so I took inspiration from other doilies in my house. Once I finish crocheting it, I need to block it so it will keep its shape, which is where I get it wet, then pin it stretched out so it will dry in shape.
