Figure Drawing

Artist Tommy van Auken visited my school for a figure drawing unit. We practiced a variety of figure drawings, from gesture to value studies using charcol. We focused on using searching lines and creating forms and movement of the figure, and then using contour lines for emphasis. We also worked on seeing the figure and using a live model.
