Lunchtime lecture with Noelani Jones 11-3-23

Listening to Noelani talk about her experience was very inspiring. I thought her focus on nature in her art was really interesting, and she could incorporate nature in different ways, such as using natural dyes and wool from her wool goats. I hadn't heard of artist residencies before, so they were fun to learn about. I wonder what it would be like to be with a bunch of artists and just do art for three weeks straight. She seemed to really love weaving, as well as helping others in her community to learn. I want to try incorporating nature into my work, as well as other things in my life that I care about.
